AI development · Brazil
Portuguese-language AI for Brazil's fintech and retail.
Bvyte is an AI and software studio in Ahmedabad that engineers agents, document AI and software for Brazilian companies. Our working language is English, while the assistants we ship read and write Brazilian Portuguese, and the customer journeys are designed around WhatsApp and Pix, with the LGPD in view from the first data map.
Start a projectPix, WhatsApp and a lot of paperwork
In Brazil a customer can pay instantly by Pix, ask a question on WhatsApp and still be asked for a stack of documents by a back office that works from emails and scans. The gap between how fast customers move and how slowly paperwork moves is where AI earns its place. We build for both sides: the conversation on the phone and the invoice, contract or claim behind it.
Overview
Building AI for Brazil's instant-payment, message-first economy
Brazil moved quickly to instant payments and messaging, and consumers now expect a business to answer on WhatsApp and settle through Pix within minutes. Behind that experience sits a heavy layer of paperwork: tax invoices, contracts, statements and registry documents that staff still read by eye. Companies that join the two layers gain speed where it shows and savings where it counts.
We start from a single journey, such as order status for a retailer or collections for a lender, and build the whole path: the conversation, the payment confirmation and the documents behind it. Portuguese quality is graded by native-speaker reviewers from your team on real chats, and every personal data element is mapped to a legal basis under the LGPD. Because Brazil is eight and a half hours behind us, the work runs asynchronously with a fixed weekly session.
What we build
What Brazilian teams hire Bvyte to build
Portuguese quality, payment rails and tax paperwork decide the outcome, so they come before the model choice.

-
06
Software for growing platforms

Process
How we run a Brazilian engagement
Fixed fee per phase, a measured exit gate at the end of each, and working software from the first weeks. See every playbook week by week.
- 01
Journey and data choice
Pick the first journey, such as order status or collections, and list the personal data it touches and the legal basis for each item.
Week 1
- 02
Portuguese test set
Assemble real conversations and documents and grade the baseline with native Brazilian reviewers, including slang and abbreviations.
Weeks 1 to 3
- 03
Pilot with a slice of traffic
Release to a share of customers with fallback to humans, and compare resolution and satisfaction to your current numbers.
Weeks 4 to 9

Brazil specifics we design around
Pix first
Pix instant payments are the default way many customers pay. Confirmation, refund and reconciliation flows are designed around Pix as well as cards and boleto.
CPF, CNPJ and NF-e
People, companies and invoices are identified by CPF, CNPJ and electronic invoices. We build extraction and validation for these formats.
WhatsApp as the front door
Many customers start on WhatsApp, so assistants hand over to a person with the full conversation attached.
Tone in Brazilian Portuguese
Formality varies by region and brand. We agree a tone guide with your team and test against it.
- Portuguese tested by native Brazilian reviewers on your own conversations.
- Customer journeys designed for WhatsApp and Pix, not adapted from a web form.
- Fiscal and commercial documents handled with validation rules, not just extraction.
- Privacy design anchored in the LGPD, with documentation your officer can use.
- Written handovers that suit an 8.5 hour gap, and one planned live session a week.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Still unsure? Ask us directly, a senior engineer replies within one business day.
What is the time difference with Brazil?
India is 8.5 hours ahead of Brasília time. Brazil does not currently use daylight saving, so the gap is stable through the year. Your morning meets our evening, so we plan a standing session then and run the rest through written handovers.
How does the LGPD affect an AI project?
The Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados sets rules on legal basis, purpose, security and data subject rights, and the ANPD is the national authority. We design for minimisation, access and deletion handling, and logging, and we work with your counsel and encarregado on what applies to your case.
Is there AI legislation in Brazil?
A dedicated AI bill has been under discussion in Congress, and we follow its progress without assuming a final form. Meanwhile we apply good practice: transparency, human oversight for consequential decisions and an audit trail.
Does the assistant understand Brazilian Portuguese informal writing?
Current models handle everyday Brazilian Portuguese well, including common abbreviations, but results vary with regional slang and voice-note transcripts. We test on your own chats and add fallbacks for the cases that fail.
Can you integrate with Pix?
Through your bank or payment provider's official interfaces, yes. We design for expiry, duplicates and delayed confirmations, and keep reconciliation separate from the conversation.
Do you work with Brazilian companies that sell abroad?
Yes. Exporters in agribusiness and manufacturing often need bilingual documents and customs paperwork read in Portuguese and English. We build the extraction and review flow for both.
Can you handle voice notes sent on WhatsApp?
We can transcribe voice notes and route them through the same assistant, with confidence checks. Accuracy drops with noise and strong regional accents, so uncertain transcripts go to a person.
Do you work with Brazilian startups as well as enterprises?
Yes. Early-stage teams usually take a fixed-fee pilot, and larger firms a squad that works inside their repositories and review rules.
