AI for Chilean mining, fintech and retail.

Bvyte is an AI and software studio in Ahmedabad that develops agents, document AI and software for companies in Chile. We communicate in English, test Spanish features on Chilean usage and track the country's data protection reform so your design does not depend on yesterday's rules.

Heavy industry, light fintech

Chile pairs one of the world's most important mining industries with an unusually digital financial sector and a consumer market that shops and pays on phones. Those worlds ask for different things from AI. A mine wants safe, searchable knowledge about equipment and procedure. A bank wants faster onboarding. We keep the two apart, because the failure costs and the review steps are very different.

Overview

Matching AI risk to Chilean industry

Chile's economy has two faces that deserve different handling. In mining, energy and heavy industry, the main use of AI is making knowledge easier to find: procedures, maintenance histories and technical reports. Mistakes can have physical consequences, so answers need sources, expert review and clear limits. In retail, fintech and services, the main use is speed in customer-facing journeys, where mistakes cost money and trust but not safety.

We begin by sorting tasks into those two groups and setting the review rules accordingly. Corpus preparation comes next, because a knowledge assistant is only as good as the documents behind it. A pilot at one site or product proves value, and experts grade answers each week. Throughout, we track the reform of Chile's personal data framework, so the design is ready for its duties as they come into force.

What we build

What Chilean teams hire Bvyte to build

The offer separates industrial knowledge work from customer-facing digital services, since risk and review differ between them.

  1. 01

    Operations knowledge assistants

Search and question answering over procedures, maintenance records and technical reports for mining and industrial sites, with sources shown and safety-critical answers flagged for expert review. See LLM and AI agent development.

  2. 02

Document AI for contracts and permits

Supplier contracts, environmental and permit documents and inspection reports structured and searchable. See document AI and automation.

  3. 03

    Fintech onboarding and support

Identity and income checks, support assistants and dispute handling for lenders and payment firms, with reviewer approval.

  4. 04

    Retail and marketplace assistants

Spanish assistants for order status, returns and product questions on web and messaging. See AI chatbot development.

  5. 05

    Software for data-heavy teams

Internal tools and integrations that connect operational data to people who need it. See custom software and SaaS.

  6. 06

    Reform-aware data design

Data maps prepared with Chile's personal data protection reform in mind, including its new supervisory framework, with timings and duties confirmed by your counsel.

Process

How we scope a Chilean project

Fixed fee per phase, a measured exit gate at the end of each, and working software from the first weeks. See every playbook week by week.

  1. 01

    Risk classification

Separate tasks where a wrong answer is inconvenient from those where it is dangerous, and set review rules for each.

    Week 1

  2. 02

    Corpus preparation

Gather, clean and structure the manuals, reports and records the system will depend on, with owners named for each.

    Weeks 2 to 4

  3. 03

Pilot at one site or product

Release to one mine, plant, branch or product line, with experts grading answers weekly.

    Weeks 5 to 10

  4. 04

    Extend

Add sites and sources, keeping evaluation sets current as procedures change.

Use cases

Chilean sectors we build AI for

  • Mining and mining services

Equipment manual search, shift report summaries and supplier document handling.

  • Fintech and banking

Onboarding checks, support triage and collections messaging with human review.

  • Retail and consumer brands

Customer service assistants and catalogue content workflows for large and mid-sized retailers.

  • Energy and renewables

Project document search and monitoring report analysis for solar and wind operators.

  • Fruit and wine exporters

Export, quality and certificate papers read and validated, in Spanish and English.

  • Forestry and salmon farming

Operational records and compliance reports structured for analysis and review.

Local detail

Chile specifics we design around

  • RUT and SII documents

The RUT identifies people and companies, and the SII's electronic tax documents drive many back office flows. We build checks around both.

  • Webpay and local payments

Webpay and other local methods have their own confirmation and refund behaviour, which we model before building.

  • ClaveUnica for government services

Where a service touches public sector sign-in, we design around ClaveUnica and the access your project is actually granted.

  • Chilean Spanish

Informal speech and local expressions are common in support chats. We test on real messages and say where quality drops.

Why Bvyte

Why Chilean teams choose Bvyte

See document AI with citations
  • Risk-based design: stricter review where a wrong answer has physical or financial consequences.
  • Answers always carry their source, which suits technical and safety cultures.
  • Chilean Spanish tested with native-speaker reviewers from your team on your content.
  • Awareness of the data protection reform, so the design is not tied to a law that is changing.
  • A 9.5 hour gap in winter and 8.5 in summer, handled with written handovers and a weekly session.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? Ask us directly, a senior engineer replies within one business day.

What is the time difference with Chile?

Chile observes daylight saving in its southern hemisphere summer. India is 9.5 hours ahead during Chilean standard time, in the colder months, and 8.5 hours ahead during summer time. Rules for the changeover dates have been adjusted in the past, so we confirm the overlap each season.

What is happening with data protection law in Chile?

Chile has reformed its personal data protection framework, moving from an older law to a modern one (Law 21.719, in force from December 2026) with a dedicated supervisory body. Provisions take effect in stages, so we ask your counsel to confirm which duties apply to you and when. We design for consent, purpose limits, security and data subject rights now.

Can an assistant be trusted with safety-related procedures?

It can find and cite the procedure, which saves time. For safety-critical decisions we keep an expert in the loop, show the source text and avoid presenting the model's wording as an instruction.

Can data stay in Chile or the region?

Cloud providers offer regions in South America, and we plan architecture around your residency needs and your customers' expectations. Some models are only available in other regions, and we tell you where that is the case.

Do you support exporters who document in two languages?

Yes. Spanish and English documents can be read, matched and validated against the destination market's requirements, with exceptions sent for review.

Do you travel to Santiago or to site?

Where a site or plant visit would help discovery, we can arrange one. Most delivery is remote.

Can you build for remote sites with weak connectivity?

Yes. Where sites have limited bandwidth, we design lightweight interfaces and cached knowledge, and use messaging channels that tolerate poor connections.

Do you work with Chilean exporters?

Yes. Exporters of fruit, wine and seafood handle many certificates and shipping documents, and we build extraction and validation for them in Spanish and English.
