AI development · Saudi Arabia
Arabic-first AI for Saudi Arabia's digital shift.
Bvyte is an AI and software studio in Ahmedabad; Riyadh is 2.5 hours behind us. For Saudi companies and for suppliers to government and large enterprise, we build assistants that think in Arabic first, document AI and software, with the Personal Data Protection Law and SDAIA guidance shaping how data is handled.
Start a projectScale, speed and Arabic by default
Saudi organisations are rebuilding services at national scale, and they expect vendors to keep pace. For AI that means Arabic as the primary language and not a translation, documents that mix Arabic and English with stamps and tables, and architecture decisions about where data lives that are made before a model is chosen. We plan for those facts, and for a purchasing process with several layers of approval.
Overview
What Saudi buyers expect from an AI partner
Saudi Arabia's digital programmes are large, quick and closely watched. Buyers want working systems, not pilots that stall, and they want vendors who understand that Arabic is the primary language, that approval chains are long and that data location can decide a deal. A partner who raises those points in the first meeting saves everyone months.
We build engagements accordingly. The first phase maps stakeholders and approvals, evaluates models on your real Arabic and bilingual documents, and settles where data and models will run. Delivery then follows short cycles with a named business owner, with security and procurement documents prepared alongside. The Personal Data Protection Law and SDAIA's guidance on AI inform design, and your counsel confirms what applies.

Local detail
Saudi Arabia specifics we design around
Arabic first, not translated
Interfaces are designed right to left from the start and tested in Arabic as the primary language, with English as the second.
Absher, Nafath and mada
Identity flows may involve Absher or Nafath, and card payments run through mada. We design around what your provider permits.
ZATCA e-invoicing
Businesses issuing invoices work with the ZATCA e-invoicing rules. We build document flows that can feed it, subject to your tax advisers.
Data location under the PDPL
The Personal Data Protection Law sets conditions on moving data abroad. We confirm hosting and transfer choices with your counsel before build.
- Arabic is tested as a primary language, with native-speaker reviewers from your team and per-language results.
- A 2.5 hour difference, so most of your working day is also ours.
- Data location planned first, which avoids rework when a security review begins.
- Documentation written for approval chains, not just for engineers.
- Senior people on the calls from first meeting to launch.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Still unsure? Ask us directly, a senior engineer replies within one business day.
What is the time difference with Saudi Arabia?
India is 2.5 hours ahead of Saudi Arabia, which does not use daylight saving, so the gap is constant. The Saudi working week runs Sunday to Thursday, so we plan around those days and agree how Friday and Saturday handovers are covered.
How does the Personal Data Protection Law affect our project?
The Personal Data Protection Law, supervised by SDAIA, sets rules on consent, purposes, data subject rights and cross-border transfers. We design with it in mind, minimise personal data in prompts and logs, and ask your counsel to confirm obligations and the current implementing regulations.
Can data stay inside Saudi Arabia?
Often, yes. Some sectors and government buyers expect data to stay in the Kingdom, and major cloud providers are expanding local infrastructure. Where a model or service is not available locally, we say so and propose alternatives, such as a self-hosted model.
How good is Arabic in current AI models?
Strong for Modern Standard Arabic and improving for Gulf dialect, but results vary by task. We test with your own text, including mixed Arabic and English, and keep a human fallback where accuracy is lower. Our guide on Arabic and English AI chatbots covers the method.
Can you work as a supplier to government entities?
We can support suppliers to public bodies with design documents, security notes and delivery. Registration, approved vendor lists and local content requirements are matters for you and your counsel, and we do not claim any status.
Do you travel to Riyadh?
For a discovery workshop in Riyadh or Jeddah, we can travel when the project is large enough. Between visits, work runs remotely with a weekly demo.
Do you work with Saudi startups as well as large organisations?
Yes. A startup could start with a fixed-fee Arabic support assistant or document pipeline, while a large organisation would run a phased programme with its own security reviews.
Can you support Saudi working hours?
Yes. With a 2.5 hour difference, your working day sits inside ours, and we agree the Sunday to Thursday calendar and any holiday coverage up front.
