Bilingual, privacy-aware AI for Canadian teams.

Bvyte is an AI and software studio in Ahmedabad that Canadian fintechs, insurers, SaaS companies and resource businesses hire for agents, document AI and product engineering. We build English and French features, keep data in Canadian cloud regions when you need it, and plan the day around Eastern and Pacific mornings.

Two languages, many privacy regimes

A Canadian rollout is rarely one rollout. There is a federal privacy law, provincial laws with their own rules, Quebec's stricter regime and customers who expect service in French as readily as in English. We treat those as design requirements on day one: language by language testing, a data map that notes which province each record belongs to, and a plain record of where processing happens.

Overview

What Canadian buyers should ask an overseas AI partner

Canadian organisations often start with the same practical worries: will the vendor handle French properly, can the data stay in Canada, and how do we explain this to our privacy officer, who answers to more than one law? Those are good questions, and they are easier to answer in the first month than the sixth.

We begin with a short jurisdiction and language map, then choose the cloud region, model provider and retention rules that fit it. Build and testing happen in both official languages, with native-speaker review from your team, and the privacy notes are written to support your own assessments, including the impact assessments that Quebec's Law 25 can require. Time zones are handled with a planned morning window for the east and a shorter, agreed block for the west.

What we build

What Canadian teams hire Bvyte to build

The engineering is the same everywhere. For Canadian clients we put extra weight on bilingual quality, data residency and provincial privacy duties.

  1. 01

    Bilingual assistants

Customer and staff assistants that answer in English or French, tested on Canadian French phrasing and your own terminology, with human handover when confidence is low. See AI chatbot development.

  2. 02

    Insurance and lending document AI

Applications, claims files, broker submissions and statements extracted and validated, with reviewer sign-off and audit logs. See document AI and automation.

  3. 03

    Canadian-region architecture

Builds in your account on the Canadian regions that the major cloud providers offer, with model choices that respect where your policy lets prompts and data be processed.

  4. 04

    Privacy documentation by province

Data maps and impact assessment inputs prepared with PIPEDA, provincial private-sector laws and Quebec's Law 25 in mind, written for your privacy officer and legal team to read.

  5. 05

    Agents for operations

Scoped agents for finance, dispatch and customer operations that call your systems through narrow tools, with every action logged. See LLM and AI agent development.

  6. 06

    Product squads for SaaS

Senior engineers who join your repositories and sprint rhythm to ship AI features without freezing the roadmap. See AI-driven software development.

Process

How we run a Canadian engagement

Fixed fee per phase, a measured exit gate at the end of each, and working software from the first weeks. See every playbook week by week.

  1. 01

    Jurisdiction and language map

List the provinces your customers sit in, the languages they use and the privacy duties each brings, before design starts.

    Week 1

  2. 02

    Data and residency plan

Choose cloud region, model provider and retention rules, and write them into the data flow diagram your privacy lead will review.

    Week 2

  3. 03

    Bilingual build

Develop in English and French together, with native-speaker reviewers from your team grading both, and demos scheduled in your morning or midday.

    Weeks 3 to 9

  4. 04

    Launch and monitor

Track quality per language, review flagged conversations weekly and agree a cadence for model and prompt changes.

Why Bvyte

Why Canadian teams choose Bvyte

See document AI with citations
  • French is treated as a first-class language with review by your native speakers, not a translation pass at the end.
  • Privacy design starts from the strictest provincial rule that applies to your customers.
  • A shared window that works for Toronto mornings and a shorter, planned one for Vancouver.
  • Your cloud account and Canadian region, so residency questions have a simple answer.
  • Senior engineers on the calls, and fixed-fee phases with an exit gate each.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? Ask us directly, a senior engineer replies within one business day.

What is the time difference with Canada?

In summer India is 9.5 hours ahead of Toronto and Montreal and 12.5 hours ahead of Vancouver, and in winter the gaps grow to 10.5 and 13.5 hours. Toronto and Montreal teams share an early morning window with our evening. Pacific teams get a shorter block, so we agree it in advance and use written handovers.

Which Canadian privacy laws should we plan for?

The federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) covers much private-sector activity, and Alberta and British Columbia have their own private-sector laws. Quebec's Law 25 adds stricter duties, including around transparency and impact assessments. We build the design around these duties and ask your counsel to confirm which ones bind you.

Can our data stay in Canada?

Yes. Work happens in your own cloud account, in a Canadian region, with model services picked to match your policy on where prompts are processed. Where a provider cannot meet it, we say so and propose a different design instead of a workaround.

How good is Canadian French in current models?

Good for most customer and document tasks, but vocabulary, tone and formal register differ from European French. We test on your own content with Canadian reviewers, report accuracy per language and agree where a person stays in the loop.

Is federal AI regulation something we should wait for?

No. Federal AI legislation has not settled in the way the EU's has, so we do not assume a date. We follow the developments, design for transparency, logging and human oversight now, and note sector guidance from your own regulators.

Do you travel to Canada?

For larger projects we can fly in for a discovery workshop. Day-to-day delivery is remote, with a weekly demo.

Can you work with our existing Canadian vendors and cloud accounts?

Yes. We work in your cloud account and tooling, alongside your other suppliers, and follow your change and approval processes.

Do you sign data processing agreements?

Yes, before any personal information is shared. The terms, including cross-border transfer language, are agreed with your counsel and reflect the provincial rules that apply to you.
